Unfortunately, due to to work commitments Vikki Chowney can no longer speak at Cybher but I’m really pleased to say that we have the awesome Cat Turner on the What’s the Future of Blogging? Panel.
I’ve had the pleasure of working with Cat a few times over the last year and I’m really excited to be welcoming her to the speaker line up because she’s fab.
Cat describes herself as an Internet Hipster – that means she spends more time online than is good for any woman. She is Head of Digital as the young London-based social media agency Rabbit.
Cat’s career stared in politics. She was one of the founders of PoliticsHome an online political news website, where she covered the 2008 US elections, last London mayoral elections and developed the site as a niche go-to source for Westminster news.
From here she headed up online communications for the Liberal Democrats during the 2010 election. Here she worked across the digital space from redesigning the campaign site through to the full social strategy, working particularly closely with activists and youth organisations to inspire and motivate.
Following her baptism of fire she managed the redesign and roll out of The Brand Union’s online presence and eighteen national sites around the world.
Cat joined Rabbit in early 2011 and here her focus is on creative digital campaigns and communications strategies. But her main priority is keeping the warren full of Rabbits happy.
When she’s not cleaning her whiskers or preening her fur, you can find Cat on Tumblr, Twitter and being a boss on Instagram.
